Most shops you walk into have bikes right off the rack, just like everyone else. At ATXSC you are part of the design and build process. Starting with the most important part of your bicycle - the frame and fork and a few color choices. From there we select wheels and components. Within 4-weeks the ATXSC Professional Service Staff are prepping and assembling your new ride.
Why go this route? A bicycle in most shops comes out of a box. Arriving to them 95% assembled by a factory in Asia. At these factories they use power tools and aren't trained mechanics. They are doing the most they can in as little time as possible. Upon arrival because bikes in boxes don't sell they are hastily assembled, finishing that final 5% and getting it on the showroom floor.
Building a bicycle from the frame up is an intimate experience. Our team will walk you through each individual part and discuss why you might want to spend a little more and even why you could get away with spending a little less in some occasions. Just because something costs more doesn't necessarily make it better!
Due to the time and care to build a bicycle from the frame up and all things being equal. It's likely you could go countless miles without needing an adjustment. Feel free to bring it in whenever but you shouldn't need it, unlike those 95% assembled bicycles sold in most stores.
